In order to always be able to present and offer the latest furnishing trends in our shop, visiting the annual furniture fair in Cologne has already become a tradition. Also this year our trend scouts were there again and got an idea of ​​the current developments on the furniture market.

New trends in the bedroom area

Groundbreaking innovations were rarely found this year, but the tried and tested were intensively developed and the well-known reclining systems perfected. Box spring beds and solid wood continue to be one step ahead when it comes to high-quality bedroom furnishings. It turned out that the quality of the box spring beds is getting better and better. In terms of appearance, too, people are no longer satisfied with the well-known design, but bring a breath of fresh air to the exterior design by using combinations with solid wood, for example. When it comes to the lying system itself, new topper materials, such as B. very adaptable gel foam, for the best lying comfort.

Wooden beds convince with an increasingly rustic charm. Oak in particular continues to experience a renaissance. Modern design and lively grain combine naturalness with a straight living style. Functional industrial design brings a breath of fresh air to bed design.

In the course of the increasing merging of all living areas, the bedroom and living room are getting closer and closer, because comfort in the bedroom is still very important. Appealingly upholstered headboards turn the bed into a comfortable lounge area and invite you to watch TV evenings in bed. The office is also finding its way into the sleeping area in the form of stylish occasional furniture: a simple desk or secretary completes the furnishings.

This year we can surprise you with the fact that we can already offer you some trade fair trends in the field of box spring beds in our shop. As part of an exclusive trading partnership, we were able to present some models in our online shop before the exhibition. Further models will follow in the next few weeks.

Furthermore, more box spring models will soon also be available with electrical adjustment. New toppers with cores made of innovative materials will individualize the comfort even better. So you can continue to enjoy the highest sleeping and lying comfort with our luxury box spring beds!

The tried and tested box spring comfort will soon be possible in a normal bed as well. Mattresses with an extraordinary height of 30 cm and more guarantee with a very long spring travel for the best ergonomic lying. We will soon be expanding our range in this segment as well.

New play worlds in the children’s room inspire young and old. With colorful bed fronts and textiles, beautiful and detailed themed rooms can be designed for boys and girls. Space-saving furnishing solutions provide more free play space. Look forward to new and practical furnishing ideas – even for small children’s rooms.

New products will soon find their way into our range of sofa beds too. In particular, models that raise sleeping comfort to a full bed level will soon be available to you. These include innovative luxury sofa beds with box spring systems as well as bed systems with full-fledged mattresses in various degrees of firmness.
